Who tests our compounds
Independent means the lab has no commercial relationship with whoever made the product. That distinction is the entire point.
Freedom Diagnostics
Aa specialized laboratory located in Franklin, Tennessee, that provides high-precision purity and identity testing for research-use-only peptides.
They are not affiliated with our suppliers and have no stake in what the results say. We pay for the test; we do not pay for a particular outcome, and no lab operating under 17025 would offer one.
The lab has to demonstrate its analytical methods actually measure what they claim to, within a known margin of error.
Instruments are calibrated against traceable reference standards on a documented schedule.
The people running the assays are assessed and re-assessed, not just assumed to be qualified.
Accreditation is granted and renewed by an outside body. It can be withdrawn. That is what makes it worth something.
How to read a Certificate of Analysis
A COA is only useful if you know what to look at. Here's what actually matters, and what to be sceptical of — on our reports or anyone else's.
A COA is a record of one specific batch. If the lot on the report doesn't match the lot printed on the vial in your hand, the report tells you nothing about your product.
An accredited third-party lab's letterhead, carrying its accreditation number, means something. A supplier's internal report or an unbranded PDF does not.
The HPLC trace shows the peaks the instrument actually found. A clean single peak supports a high purity figure. A headline percentage with no trace behind it is just a claim.
Mass spec confirms the compound is what the label says. Quantity confirms how much is in the vial. Purity tells you what fraction is the target compound. A report covering one is not a report covering all three.
Testing is done per batch. A single report used to vouch for every product a vendor sells isn't evidence about any of them.
Real assay results vary. If every compound in a catalogue reports exactly 99.9%, that's a marketing figure, not a measurement.
